A recent feature of the Thailand Elite Visa is the Privilege Points scheme. This new system rewards members of Thailand Elite with a number of points on an annual basis that they can redeem for certain perks.
These points are distributed based on the type of membership:
- 5-year GOLD Membership: 20 points per year
- 10-year PLATINUM Membership: 35 points per year
- 15-year DIAMOND Membership: 55 points per year
- 20-year RESERVE Membership: 120 points per year
Thailand Elite members can use these points for privileges designed to improve every aspect of their experience in the Kingdom. These points are redeemable for any of the available privileges, without any limitations.

Benefits of the Privilege Points Feature
- Redeeming points and understanding how to use them is a simple and intuitive process.
- Members are allowed to put forward their points for any of the privileges offered by Thailand Privilege Card Co. Ltd., regardless of their membership.
- On a yearly basis, privilege points are resetted back to the maximum amount based on the membership tier. However, unspent points are not carried over.
How to Spend Privilege Points
To begin, Thailand Elite members should apply for a physical membership card. While optional, acquiring this card is highly recommended given that multiple Thailand Elite partners require it as proof of membership identity.
While some perks can be collected on-site, others are only obtainable via appointment. In this situation, members must contact the Member Contact Center (MCC) to request for a reservation. They will receive confirmation of their booking and must bring this document along with their membership card to the establishment on their day of choice.
Holders of a Thailand Elite Visa must adhere to the terms and conditions for each privilege redeemed with their points. Failure to abide by these rules can result in that privilege being revoked. Some privileges are also marked as “complimentary” or “member-paid,” meaning that no points are needed provided the membership is maintained and has been paid for.
Contacting a GSSA
Those wanting to know more about the Thailand Elite Visa and its privilege points or prospective members looking to get started on their application are encouraged to reach out to a government-authorized General Sales and Services Agent (GSSA). Appointed specifically by Thailand Privilege Card Co. Ltd, GSSAs provide free assistance with Thailand Elite applications, and are able to address all concerns regarding the new privilege points feature. It is highly recommended to consult a reputable GSSA, as the legitimacy of non-GSSAs cannot be guaranteed and there is a risk of fraud when working with uncertified agents.
