A lot of times people ask what is a contingency fee all right that's a legitimate question just like any service you want to know how you're going to have to pay for it what we do is to assist our clients many of whom don't wouldn't have the ability to pay upfront or pay for costs in a particular case the cost of court reporters the cost of experts the cost of visual aids exhibits things like that we have what's called a contingency fee and it it kind of means what it says and that is our fee is contingent on the client making a recovery in a case we are unable for whatever reason to make a recovery on behalf of one of our clients they don't owe us anything so there's really no risk to a client in that circumstance there are circumstances where there can be risk of course but generally speaking when you hire an attorney under a contingency fee contract where the Attorney has agreed to front or cover all the costs and carry those costs from the beginning of the case all the way to its bitter end it it's it causes people a lot of comfort in many ways they don't have to worry about how am I going to pay my lawyer or anything like that and it's it's a built-in incentive to win the case quite frankly and so we do the very best job we can to make a recovery for our clients because number one it provides them with the justice that they deserve and number two it enables us to to be compensated for our work in a particular case.
