On 23 June 2010, the FR published a revised "Self-Declaration of Income Form for Mortgage, Insurance and Investment Intermediaries" (the Revised Form). This follows the publication by the FR on 6 May of a previous version of that form, also reported in Tracker. The purpose of the Revised Form (as was the case with its previous version), is to allow the FR to calculate the annual levy applicable to (amongst other types of entities) insurance intermediaries, for 2010. It requires certain details, including total income as at 31 December 2009. The May version of the form had stated that this figure excluded income from insurance mediation business. The Revised Form does not contain this statement and its publication is intended to clarify that income from insurance mediation business must be included in that figure. The form can be downloaded from the FR website.
