This checklist sets out some guidelines and practical suggestions for optimising cybersecurity when staff are working remotely. It is not a technical guide but rather is intended to support organisations to take proportionate steps to manage remote working cybersecurity risks. It can be used at the commencement of an unexpected period of remote working, or it can be used more generally when members of staff work remotely.
