This checklist will assist in-house counsel and private practice lawyers to determine whether a filing is required under the mandatory notification regime of the National Security and Investment Act 2021 (NSIA), assess the risk that a transaction might be subject to call-in and, in the event that a mandatory notification is not required, determine whether to file a voluntary notification.
