Young Suk Park

Mr. Young Suk Park heads Shin & Kim’s International Dispute Resolution Group, overseeing its
international arbitration, trade and international litigation practices. He is one of a handful lawyers in the
Korean International Arbitration community to support his highly developed international arbitration
practice with a broad and diversified background in non-contentious practice in international transactions.
He joined the firm in 2023 from KL Partners, where he was the head of its international arbitration team.
Prior to KL Partners, Young was the General Counsel and Executive Director of Atinum Partners, an
investment firm located in Seoul and with offices in Singapore. He was a member of its investment
committee, being involved in investments and transactions, encompassing a variety of sectors, such as
energy, natural resources, real estate, buy-outs, start-ups and public equity. While trying his hand at
investments, Young did not lose touch with the international arbitration practice and founded and held the
inaugural chair of the Arbitration Committee of the Korea In-house Counsel Forum (IHCF), an organisation
devoted to educating in-house counsels and promoting in-house practice.
