Katherine Bell is a Partner in Schellenberg Wittmer's Dispute Resolution Group and heads the Construction Practice Group in Zurich.
Katherine specializes in the resolution of disputes arising out of complex construction, engineering and infrastructure projects across a variety of industries. She also represents clients in disputes in connection with (equipment) supply contracts or commercial tenancy and lease agreements. Katherine acts as counsel and arbitrator in arbitral proceedings and represents parties in litigation proceedings before Swiss courts. In addition to her disputes practice, Katherine regularly advises clients on contract drafting and negotiation, contract and claims administration and dispute avoidance.
Katherine recently represented a German party in an ICC arbitration against an Eastern European party in a dispute under a series of supply and engineering contracts related to a metals processing plant, and is currently representing a U.S. subsidiary of a Swiss intralogistics company in an ICC arbitration against a Spanish equipment supplier related to the construction of a logistics center in the United States.
