Jonathan is one of Canada’s leading trademark litigators, and he has represented numerous national and international companies in reported intellectual property decisions over the last thirty years, including Staples, Canada Goose, GAP, Hilton, Estée Lauder, Home Depot, ACCA, and CarGurus. He is consistently ranked as a top lawyer in Canadian trademark law by his peers.
Jonathan is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and is the former chair of the Unfair Competition Committee’s Advocacy Section, and a former member of the Enforcement and Parallel Imports Committees. He is also a former member of the Canadian Trademark Agents Board of Examiners.
