Joachim specialises in international arbitration, both commercial and investment treaty arbitration and is highly regarded by peers and clients as “a savvy, fact-driven advocate” with notable expertise in investment treaty arbitration, Who’s Who Legal, Arbitration, 2022. He has acted as counsel and arbitrator in over 80 international arbitral proceedings, ad hoc (including UNCITRAL) or administered (ICC, ICSID, Swiss Rules, LCIA, SCC, DIS, DIAC, AAA/ICDR), governed by various procedural and substantive laws, including Swiss, French, German, and English.
