Philippe Boisvert is a litigation partner in the Montréal office of Borden Ladner Gervais. He regularly represents clients before arbitration tribunals (both domestic and international) under various rules, as well as before Canadian courts. His practice focuses on complex domestic and cross-border disputes, notably in the fields of construction and infrastructure. Philippe has experience representing clients in arbitrations relating to infrastructure work such as nuclear and hydroelectric power plants, tunnels, roads, bridges, refineries, transportation infrastructure, and more. He also specializes in the enforcement of arbitral awards in Canada.
Philippe is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), an ICC YAAF- representative for North America and the past President (2022-2024) of Young Canadian Arbitration Practitioners (YCAP).
Prior to joining BLG, Philippe practised for a decade in Paris in the international arbitration group at White & Case LLP. He was previously a law clerk to the Honourable Marc Noël at the Canadian Federal Court of Appeal in Ottawa.
