Craig is a partner in the International Arbitration Group in BLG’s Vancouver office, with extensive experience in both domestic and international arbitration. He specializes in commercial arbitration and investment treaty arbitration, acting as both counsel and arbitrator in complex disputes across many industries, including construction and energy. Craig has represented clients in arbitration proceedings globally under the rules of ICC, UNCITRAL, ICSID, SCC, HKIAC, LCIA, ICDR, VanIAC, and in ad hoc arbitrations.
Craig is currently the Chair of the Arbitration Committee of ICC Canada (2024 to 2026). He is recognized and ranked by leading legal publications and directories, including Who’s Who Legal: Arbitration, The Best Lawyers in Canada (International Arbitration) since 2016, Chambers Canada (Dispute Resolution: Arbitration, Nationwide), Chambers Global (Dispute Resolution – Arbitration), and The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory (International Commercial Arbitration). He is listed in Benchmark Canada as a Litigation Star for Arbitration.
Craig was named in the BC500 (2023), which profiles influential business leaders in British Columbia, received the 2022 Excellence in Arbitration Award from the Vancouver International Arbitration Centre and was named Lawyer of the Year for International Arbitration by The Best Lawyers
