Andrés Chambouleyron is a senior managing director at Ankura. He has 29 years of experience as an
economist, valuation expert, and consultant for public utilities (electricity, natural gas, water and sanitation,
and telecommunications) and other regulated and non-regulated businesses. His work involves economic
analysis, pricing and rate setting, valuation, business advisory, regulatory design and analysis, and
damage assessment.
Dr. Chambouleyron has been involved in more than thirty arbitration cases assessing damages under the
rules of ICDR, ICSID, ICC, VIAC, CECAP and UNCITRAL in Latin America, Europe, the U.S and Canada.
He has worked and provided written or oral testimony in sectors ranging from electricity generation,
transmission and distribution, natural gas and oil production, oil refining, gas transportation and
distribution, water and sanitation services, telecommunications, manufacturing, and financial services. He
has provided consulting services to both private companies and governments in countries such as
Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Mexico and
Panama.
