Jimmy has more than 16 years of experience representing clients in domestic and international arbitration cases, both commercial and investor-state arbitration. He is also a certified arbitrator and has more than 12 years of experience in both domestic and international cases. Jimmy has been involved in around 60 arbitrations. Jimmy is admitted to the bar of Denmark and has a right of appearance before all Danish courts.
With respect to arbitration institutions, Jimmy's experience covers cases under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris (ICC), the London Court of Arbitration (LCIA), the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes in Washington (ICSID and ICSID Additional Facility Rules), the Luxembourg Arbitration Center (LAC), CAS, and the Scandinavian arbitration institutes. Jimmy also has experience with ad hoc arbitration, including under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules.
Jimmy has handled cases within a broad range of sectors and industries, including renewable energy, oil and gas, mining, M&A, IPOs, private equity and alternative investments, banking and finance, telecoms and & IT, shipping, food and beverages, retail, IP and commercial contracts.
