Alina Tugearu is a Partner at Zamfirescu Racoți Vasile & Partners and heads the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation practice. She is a seasoned litigator with nearly two decades of experience in civil and commercial disputes, with a particular focus on international arbitration and administrative litigation.
Recognised for her strategic precision and advocacy skills, Alina has acted as lead counsel in major arbitration mandates handled by ZRVP. She has represented clients before national and international arbitral tribunals under the ICC, LCIA, VIAC, and UNCITRAL rules, as well as before the Court of International Commercial Arbitration in Bucharest. Her expertise covers complex, high-stakes disputes across sectors such as construction (including FIDIC contracts), post-privatisation, and energy.
Alina holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Sorbonne University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), London.
