Ms Nada Sader is an arbitrator and counsel based in Beirut, with over fifteen years of experience in international arbitration, during which she worked on more than 40 international arbitration cases as counsel or arbitrator. Prior to going solo, Ms. Sader worked at Derains & Gharavi for over 14 years, and headed the Beirut office of the firm for over 7 years.
She is a member of the Beirut, Paris and New York Bars.
She has represented private parties and governments in numerous ad hoc and institutional commercial arbitrations, including under the arbitration rules of the ICC, ADCCAC, BCCI, the Paris Chamber of Arbitration and UNCITRAL, as well as investment arbitrations (around ten ICSID cases as counsel - representing both States and investors - including annulment proceedings). Her experience extends to proceedings governed by civil law, common law, investment treaties and general public international law.
She also sits as arbitrator (sole arbitrator, co-arbitrator or president of the tribunal) in various commercial and investment arbitrations, under different sets of rules.
