After practicing for several years in French and international law firms, Andrea Pinna established an independent law firm in 2022 focusing primarily on international arbitration and State court litigation related to it (annulment, enforcement).
In particular, his practice concerns a large diversity of arbitration proceeding (commercial, investment and sports arbitration), being them ad hoc or before arbitration centers and in application of various arbitration rules (ICC, SCC, ICSID, CAS, UNCITRAL).
He has participated as counsel in dozens of arbitration proceedings in several different areas, including arising out of M&A transactions, joint-venture agreements, foreign investments, energy, oil and gas, mining, military, satellites and international sport.
He appears frequently before French Courts handling disputes related to arbitration such as set aside applications or enforcement of arbitral awards.
He has extensive experience in representing Sovereign States in international arbitration proceedings and before domestic Courts, including arguing issues of sovereign immunities and alter ego, notably in the frame of attempts to enforce arbitral award or foreign court judgments.
