Peter Chow is an international arbitrator. He has substantial experience with high-stakes, complex international disputes globally, including those related to energy & natural resources, oil & gas, infrastructure & construction and technology projects, shareholders, private equity investments and other commercial disputes.
Prior to practising as an independent arbitrator, Peter was a partner at King & Spalding (Singapore) and Squire Patton Boggs (Hong Kong). He has held various leadership roles, including global head of Greater China disputes practice, head of Asia disputes practice, and head of office as a partner at various US international law firms. He has practised in Singapore, Australia, and Hong Kong.
Peter has represented clients in some of the largest arbitrations in Asia, including 5 cases involving multi-billion US dollar claims. He has been involved in arbitrations in Asia for over 30 years and has acted as arbitrator and counsel in numerous arbitration cases, including those involving ICC, HKIAC, SIAC, CIETAC, ICDR, AAA, NAI, KCAB and UNCITRAL arbitral rules, and has had substantial experience in both common law and civil law matters.
