Mr Kuncoro is a registered Patent and Trade Mark Attorney in Indonesia. He is also the co-founder and currently the Managing Partner of Batavia Patentservis Asia.
He has been formally involved in the intellectual property (IP) industry since 2004. In 2014, he completed a three-month IP consultant course and passed the accompanying examination held by the Indonesian IP Office (DGIP) in collaboration with the Faculty of Law, BINUS University. He has undertaken extensive training, including the SEAD Patent Drafting Course (organised by FICPI and the European Patent Office), held in Bangkok and Thailand, from May to October 2009 and the JPO-AOTS/HIDA three-week training programme for Patent Experts in 2013, in Tokyo, Japan. He has also participated in numerous international IP seminars and workshops across Europe, Asia, and the United States.
He holds a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the School of Pharmacy, State University of Padjadjaran (UNPAD), Bandung, awarded in 1993.

Prior to entering the intellectual property (IP) profession, Mr Kuncoro worked in the local pharmaceutical industry.
