Santiago Dellepiane is an independent economic analyst, business and valuation consultant whose practice focuses on valuation analysis and damages assessments involving business interests in emerging markets and often in the context of cross border disputes. He regularly serves both as testifying expert as well as a consulting advisor in these types of proceedings. His clients include privately-held and publicly-traded companies, government entities, investment funds and individuals. His experience and expertise, while not sector-specific, has focused predominantly in infrastructure assets and natural resources.
Mr. Dellepiane has provided written and oral testimony or expert advice in matters involving valuation, regulatory, damages, and other issues before ICSID, ICC, LCIA UNCITRAL/PCA, and ICDR tribunals, and before U.S. Federal courts and Canadian Courts (Superior Court of Justice of Ontario and Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta).
His research on damages in contractual and treaty breaches has been published in the book “Damages in International Arbitration under Complex Long-term Contracts,” published in 2014 by Oxford University Press International Arbitration Series.
