Pierre Duprey is a founding partner of Audit Duprey Fekl.
Before launching his firm in 2021, Mr. Duprey was co-head of Linklaters’ global international arbitration practice. He was recruited to Linklaters’ partnership in 2013 after spending 18 years at Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier, which he had joined after several years at Gide Loyrette Nouel.
Pierre Duprey has extensive experience in international arbitration, field in which he has been practicing for more than three decades. Mr. Duprey defends private businesses and state entities in their disputes in Europe, Latin America, the United States, Asia and Africa. He represented his clients in over 170 arbitrations: commercial and investment, institutional (ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL, SCC, PCA, ICSID, AFA, Milan Chamber of Arbitration) and ad hoc.
Additionally, Pierre Duprey regularly sits as arbitrator in ad hoc or institutional arbitrations and is experienced in many domestic laws.
Mr. Duprey is notably involved in industries such as energy and natural resources, defense, pharmaceuticals, communication technologies and construction. He also frequently advises clients in post-acquisition disputes involving complex joint ventures. Mr. Duprey currently acts for the local subsidiary of an international mining group in a billion-dollar dispute against an African state entity.
