Montek Mayal

Montek Mayal is a Partner at Osborne Partners, and Practice Head for Asia and the Middle East. Prior to joining Osborne Partners, Montek was a Senior Managing Director in FTI’s Economic and Financial Consulting segment. Montek founded and led FTI’s Economic Consulting and International Arbitration practice in India having joined in November 2009 as a Research Analyst.

Montek graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in Mathematics and Computer Science from Colgate University. Montek has 15 years of experience in providing expert services in the assessment of quantum, financial, economic and valuation issues in contentious and non-contentious matters. He has a broad range of experience in issues including valuation of businesses and shares in relation to intellectual property disputes and valuations, shareholder and joint venture disputes, private equity investments, investment treaty claims, competition and anti-trust matters, calculation of lost profits and wasted costs, spectrum auctions and market, financial and economic analysis, research and study. He has developed and designed a number of quantitative models to value and forecast different aspects of businesses.
