Elias has extensive experience in advising clients from a wide range of industries and across different types of conduct, giving expert testimony in court, and dealing with competition authorities. He has provided economic expertise in various complex cartel and abuse of dominance cases in front of competition authorities and courts, controversial mergers in concentrated markets, and high-stakes litigation cases. His industry experience includes, among others, telecoms, retail, transport and automotive, pharma and healthcare, aquaculture and fisheries, media, and the energy sector.
Elias holds a PhD in Economics from NHH Norwegian School of Economics. He has long experience as an empirical researcher and in consulting at the intersection of law and economics. Through publications and innovative case work, he regularly contributes to the development of competition economics.
