Founding partner of Bernardi & Schnapp Advogados, Ricardo holds an LLB degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica – PUC/SP and post -graduation degree from the same University.
Former Professor of Commercial Law at Complexo Jurídico Damásio de Jesus.
Over the last two decades, Ricardo has been giving lectures and participating in seminars as speaker on matters related to Aviation Law in many universities, education institutions sponsored by Courts and industry organizations, including the Catholic University of Sao Paulo, the Sao Paulo Lawyers Association (AASP), the Sao Paulo School of Magistrates (EPM), the National Council of Justice (CNJ), the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the Latin America Air Transport Association (ALTA), among other equally distinguished entities.
Given his notorious experience with the aviation law, Ricardo was appointed by the Brazilian Senate as one of the members of the special commission instituted by the Congress to draft a new piece of legislation on aeronautic law: the Brazilian Aeronautic Code.
Ricardo has written multiple articles and books about aviation law on matters varying from liability matters, environmental & airport operations, code sharing agreements, regulatory matters, among others.
