Paul J Greene, the founder of Global Sports Advocates, is recognised by WWL as one of the world’s leading sports lawyers. He has been named a WWL Global Elite - Thought Leader for sports law for the past eight years. Paul handles sports law matters around the world, including hearings before the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, Switzerland – known as the “Supreme Court for sports law”. Paul has represented athletes from more than 70 countries and more than 70 different sports, and even represented an Olympic gold medal winning horse. He is best known for his successful advocacy on behalf of athletes in high-profile matters, including his representation of former UFC World Champion Jon Jones in his reinstatement hearing before the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
In 2025, Greene has again successfully represented hundreds of sports clients in a range of disputes that include doping, SafeSport, eligibility, contract, and governance issues at the professional, Olympic and collegiate levels.
