Mr. Hurtado is a Partner of Jáuregui y Del Valle, SC. He is an expert in Consulting and Litigation in the areas of International Trade and Customs (with emphasis in Antidumping and Countervailing duties), Economic Competition, Administrative Law (including Consumer Protection, Pharmaceutical and Health Matters), Commercial Law and Foreign Investment Regulations.
Mr. Hurtado is a member of the Mexican Bar Association and the National Association of Corporate Counsel (ANADE), Chairman of the Committee of Trade and Logistics of the American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico (2008–2016), Vice President of the Committee of Trade and Investments, Board Member of the Mexican Chapter of the International Chamber of Commerce and Former President of the Appleseed México Foundation, a Pro Bono Association (2015–2018). Mr. Hurtado has been Professor of Administrative Law at the Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico City for 25 years and was appointed in July 2020 as Panelist of Mexico for USMCA chapters 10 and 31 disputes.
