Vicky has almost twenty years’ experience of calculating damages and valuing intellectual property rights, businesses and shares for litigation and international arbitration.
In recent years Vicky’s practice has focused on FRAND disputes, covering cellular and non-cellular standards. Vicky has acted in over 20 FRAND matters in both litigation and international arbitration. Vicky’s FRAND experience includes major EWHC disputes InterDigital v OPPO (2024), Optis v Apple (2022) and Unwired Planet v Huawei (2016), and covers comparables, top down and economic benefits analysis.
Vicky has experience of conducting damages inquiries (including lost profits and reasonable royalty assessments) and accounts of profits in a variety of industries including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, medical devices and consumer goods. Notable public disputes include BASF Corporation v Carpmaels & Ransford (2021) and Jack Wills v House of Fraser (2016).
Prior to joining FTI Consulting in 2013, Vicky was an Associate Principal in the Forensic Services practice of Charles River Associates and, before that, a Manager at LECG in Sydney Australia.
