Tara Singh

Tara Singh is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting and leads the firm’s Canadian Valuation & Damages practice. Based in Canada, her work spans domestic, United States, and international disputes. Ms Singh is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).

Since 2006, she has specialised in the quantification of economic damages and the valuation of businesses and other assets, particularly in the context of complex commercial litigation and arbitration. Her experience includes breach of contract disputes, intellectual property and securities fraud litigation, class actions, and other financial matters. Tara has testified as an expert witness in litigation, arbitration, and mediation proceedings, and has provided deposition evidence. She has prepared numerous expert and valuation reports for submission to courts, arbitral panels, and regulatory bodies.

Since 2023, she has been recognised by Who’s Who Legal in the categories of Arbitration Expert Witnesses and Consulting Experts – Quantum of Damages.
