Dr. Robert Hardy, LL.M. (Harvard) is a partner in the Amsterdam office of Greenberg Traurig, LLP, and a member of the firm’s Antitrust Litigation & Competition Regulation practice.
His practice encompasses a wide range of Dutch and EU antitrust/competition and regulatory matters, including:
- Merger control (including Phase I and Phase II merger control investigations before the Dutch Competition Authority (ACM) and the European Commission, as well as multi-jurisdictional merger control matters).
- Foreign investment review (including advice on and representations in relation to the Dutch National Security Investment Act (‘Wet veiligheidstoets investeringen, fusies en overnames’, or ‘Wet Vifo’)).
- Cartel investigations, related litigation, and antitrust recovery (e.g., follow-on damages claims).
- SEPs & FRAND licensing disputes.
- Competition law advice and compliance (e.g., in relation to Article 6 of the Dutch Competition Act (Mw)/Article 101 TFEU and Article 24 Mw/Article 102 TFEU matters, as well as antitrust/competition law compliance and training programs for clients).
- EU State aid advice to recipients of government support.
