The Singapore High Court decision of Rockeby Biomed Ltd v Alpha Advisory Pte Ltd concerns an application to set aside an arbitration award on the ground that the award conflicted with the public policy of Singapore as expressed and embodied in the Securities and Futures Act and the Securities and Futures (Licensing and Conduct of Business) Regulations 2002, and was thus in breach of Article 34(2)(b)(ii) of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration which has been made a part of Singapore law by the International Arbitration Act
