The judiciary administration recently confirmed the outcome of the first four-yearly review of solicitors' hourly rates (SHRs) for taxation of costs between parties in civil proceedings. Following the review, conducted by a committee comprising judges and judicial officers, a decision has been taken to maintain the existing level of SHRs for the next four years.
