Sixth Circuit holds employers must provide detailed information about alternative dispute resolutions procedures prior to effective waiver of right to sue in court

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit held recently that employers that require applicants and current employees to waive their right to sue over employment-related disputes must meet heightened disclosure requirements for the waiver to be effective.
