This checklist is intended to provide guidance to in-house counsel and private practitioners about complying with cookie requirements pursuant to EU Directive 2002/58/EC of 12 July 2002 concerning the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector (ePrivacy Directive) and the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), and to assist them when advising internal or external clients on these issues.
