Product liability is a fast-evolving landscape, driven by a range of factors from tightening regulation to mass product litigation, the internationalisation of risk and the growing impact of social media on corporate reputations.
As new technologies develop so the nature of product liability risk evolves.
We have a detailed understanding of all major sectors and with more than 50 specialist partners world-wide, it gives us a unique capability to advise on multi-jurisdictional issues wherever they arise.

Emerging risks in product liability
On 19 September 2018 a number of our global partners are coming together to host a seminar in which they will explore the risks and challenges posed by new technologies, including:
- Autonomous Vehicles
- "Bogus" cancer risks, such as talcum powder, mobile phones and Roundup
- Artificial intelligence
Our partners will consider the latest developments in these areas and compare the approaches taken by courts and regulators in the US, Australia and the UK.
