The government has said that it intends to consult on the following:

  • protected conversations (described by the government as a frank conversation between an employer and employee concerning matters such as performance or retirement);
  • simplification of the use of compromise agreements; 
  • the introduction of a rapid resolution scheme to provide a swifter and cheaper determination of simple, low value employment claims; and 
  • the removal of the third party harassment provisions in the Equality Act 2010.

No date has been set for the above consultation exercises.
