The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission have released a free online education program to help small businesses learn about their rights and obligations under Australian competition and consumer laws.

The interactive program includes 10 separate modules taking between 15-20 minutes each to complete. The modules cover topics such as pricing, advertising, guarantees, consumer rights, exclusive dealings, selling safe products, unlawful competition, cartels and scams.

The ACCC hopes the modules will help small business owners to better understand their rights and responsibilities under Australia’s competition and consumer law.
