The U.S. Department of Labor has posted a notice on the Veterans' Employment & Training Service website that the September 30 filing deadline for VETS-100 and VETS-100A Reports has been extended 60 days. The website is experiencing technical problems that prevent federal contractors from submitting the required information.

The system is expected to be back up and running by October 1, and contractors will have until November 30 to submit the forms.

Contractors with a federal contract or subcontract that was entered into before December 1, 2003 that is worth $25,000 or more must file the VETS-100 Report. Contractors with a federal contract or subcontract that was entered into or modified on or after December 1, 2003 that is worth $100,000 or more must file a VETS-100A Report. Contractors with both categories of contracts must file both reports.
