Rep. Eric Eisnaugle was re-elected to the Florida House of Representatives on April 8, 2014 and represents District 44. He was also a member of the House of Representatives from 2008-2012. Rep. Eisnaugle is the current Vice Chair of the Rules, Calendar & Ethics Committee and serves on the Agriculture & Natural Resources Subcommittee, Justice Appropriations Subcommittee, Local & Federal Affairs Committee, and the Rulemaking Oversight & Repeal Subcommittee.
Rep. Eisnaugle earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida Southern College and his juris doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School. He is a member of the Florida Commission on Capital Cases 2010 and the Ninth Judicial Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Rep. Eisnaugle serves on the Advisory Board for the Boy Scouts of Central Florida and is a Guardian Ad Litem.
Rep. Eisnaugle has received numerous accolades including the 2010 Legislator of the Year Award from the Association of Builders and Contractors, the 2010 New Lawyer Award of Merit from the Orange County Legal Aid Society, and the 2010 State Legislative Award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Legal Reform. In addition, he was awarded the Distinguished Advocate Award by the Florida Chamber of Commerce in 2009 and a Public Service Award by the Florida Network of Children's Advocacy Centers in 2009.
He and his wife, Carrie, have three children: Eric III, Ethan and Everett. Rep. Eisnaugle was born in Arcadia, Florida and is a resident of Orlando, Florida.
