On September 10, 2014 the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On amendments to Registra- tion and Reregistration Procedure for unemployed persons and keeping record of persons seeking a job" 11 (hereinafter, the Resolution) to protect persons displaced from the temporarily occupied territory.
In case of dismissal (termination of another type of employment), in the absence of documents confirming such dismissal, displaced persons shall be registered and obtain social services and financial support accord- ing to the State Register of Compulsory State Social Insurance.
In case their labor relationship is terminated through court procedure, the relevant court judgment should be produced for registration.
If dismissal of termination of another type of employment (including self-employment or entrepreneurial activities) took place under Par. 6 of Article 7 of the Law of Ukraine "On securing the rights and freedoms of citizens and legal regime on the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine"12, documents shall be submitted as provided for by legislation to confirm the actual termination of another type of employment (court judgment, excerpt from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs, etc.).
Also, the Resolution regulates the provision of social services and allowances for unemployed citizens displaced from the ATO zone.
According to the Resolution, social services and allowances shall be provided to such persons by the employment center they apply to.
The amendments extend to Ukrainian citizens only.
