Trade Policy Reviews: Suriname, Costa Rica
The third review of the trade policies and practices of Suriname took place on 11 and 13 September 2019. The basis for the review was a report by the WTO Secretariat and a report by the Government of Suriname.
The fifth review of the trade policies and practices of Costa Rica took place on 18 and 20 September 2019. The basis for the review is a report by the WTO Secretariat and a report by the Government of Costa Rica.
Regional trade agreements reviewed
On 17 September 2019, the WTO announced that members reviewed three regional trade agreements (RTAs) at the meeting of the Committee on RTAs on 17 September. Members considered the Pacific Alliance Additional protocol to the framework agreement between Colombia, Chile, Mexico and Peru, the ArmeniaKazakhstan free trade agreement and the free trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Viet Nam.
