In brief

In January 2017, Law 1823 established the obligation for public entities and private companies to adopt the nursing rooms strategy.

This law provided a term of five years for the implementation of the nursing rooms requirement to private companies with less than 1,000 employees, and: (i) capital equal to or greater than 1,500 minimum wages or (ii) capital of less than 1,500 minimum wages with more than 50 female employees. This term expires this month.

If your company meets any of these requirements, it is important to check if you have already made the necessary accommodations for these rooms.
