A Jobcentre Plus worker claimed that the word "reliable" contained in a job advert was inappropriate as it meant that unreliable workers could sue the Jobcentre for discrimination.

Nicole Mamo was placing an advert for a domestic cleaner and was told by the Jobcentre that the advert could not be displayed as there was a discrimination risk. A spokesperson for the Campaign Against Political Correctness said "This situation is absolutely ridiculous – of course people want reliable workers and of course employers should be able to ask for them."

Whatever next? No mention of the job role in case those incapable of fulfilling it are put off applying? No mention of the qualifications needed for a job in case those without them don't apply?!
