At FSA's April Board Meeting, as well as the rules for BCOBS and FSCS limits, it made:
- the Handbook Administration (No 13) Instrument 2009: this makes minor changes to several parts of the Handbook from dates up to 1 June;
- the Fees (Payment Services) Instrument 2009: this takes effect from 1 May and amends the Glossary and FEES in respect of fees for payment services providers for registration, authorisation and variation of permission; and
- the Enforcement Guide (Use of Firm-Commissioned Reports) Instrument 2009: this amends EG from 6 May and implements FSA's plan to see reports that firms commission. The new guidance takes account of concerns that FSA was imposing more rules on firms, and now clarifies it is for a firm to decide whether to provide FSA with a legally privileged report.
