• On November 6, 2007, EU Member States decided that exports of meat and animal products from most parts of the UK could resume after a two-month ban which followed outbreaks of foot-and-mouth disease on farms in the south of England. Export restrictions were imposed on Cyprus, where a foot-and-mouth outbreak was confirmed on November 5, 2007 (European Voice November 8-14, 2007, p. 6)
