Stephenson Harwood’s art and cultural property team recently hosted a virtual webinar on Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) in the art market. There has been a growing interest in NFTs, which represent digital works and proof of ownership, and the webinar explored the legal challenges relating to this area in the art market. The session, which had more than 60 attendees, was chaired by head of art and cultural property and partner Roland Foord, and the panel line-up included Charles Cochrane, Director of Cochrane Adams Fine Art Agents, partners Alexandra Pygall and Ben Sigler, and senior associates Alice Vink and Alan Ward.
