We have previously blogged on the potential of the Western Michigan Univerisity sequestration project, it is now underway. The project began earlier this month, near Otsego County's Charlton Township. By the time the project is completed late next month 10,000 tons of carbon dioxide will have been sequestered under ground. The CO2 is being buried about 3000 feet below the surface into saline rock formations.
