The Czech cabinet has approved a new action plan for combatting corruption. The plan reflects the cabinet’s commitment to the protection of whistleblowers. In 2015, an analysis on whistleblowing issues will be conducted and the potential establishment of a centre for reporting corruption will be explored. The cabinet has declared willingness to cooperate with non-profit organisations, professional associations and other parties outside of public sector. As one of the first steps, a specialised Committee on whistleblowing has been established.
