On June 23, the House passed Department of Defense Appropriations Act, 2015 (H.R. 4870) to fund the Department of Defense for fiscal year 2015, by a vote of 340-73. The bill included an amendment, agreed to by voice vote, that would prohibit contracts from the Defense Department in fiscal year 2015 to entities incorporated or chartered in Bermuda or the Cayman Islands and previously incorporated in the United States.
