The Corbett Administration announced it has nominated Craig R. McKay and Michael Potteiger to serve as members of the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole, subject to confirmation by the state Senate.

The governor also appointed Lloyd A. White as the board’s acting chairman. White has been a board member since 2001.

McKay, an attorney from Allegheny County, is first assistant district attorney in Washington County. He formerly served as an assistant U.S. Attorney and also as a trial lawyer.

Potteiger, of York County, is director of Adult Probation and Parole Services for Dauphin County. He was formerly a parole officer in Dauphin and Northumberland counties.

White, of Dauphin County, began his career as a police officer for Clarion University and received municipal police officer certification. He was a probation and parole officer for 14 years for Bucks County Adult Probation Department and was named Bucks County Probation Officer of the Year in 1996. He was first appointed to the board in 2001 and was re-appointed in 2007.
