Senator Susan Boxer (D-CA) sent a letter to the EPA last Friday, December 4th, regarding the EPA's denial of a waiver to California over GHG emissions. Senator Boxer's letter attacked the EPA for the decision and now avoiding timelines that were set. She calls out EPA Administrator Johnson saying, "Who does the Administrator think he and the EPA work for? The EPA Administrator needs to be reminded that he works for the American people. The Bush EPA can run, but they can't hide. The Senate Environment and Public Works Committee will hold the Bush EPA accountable for this outrageous, unprecedented decision." This Thursday Senator Boxer will hold a Senate EPW hearing in Los Angeles, CA to discuss the EPA's decision.
