Education providers which hold tier 4 status are reminded that they can only offer courses to tier 4 students which lead to an approved qualification. If the approved qualification needs to be recognised by an awarding body then the education provider offering the course must ensure that it has a formal articulation agreement with the relevant awarding body in place before the student embarks on the course. The education team at Penningtons still encounters instances where this rule is not being adhered to and provides detailed advice on the UKBA requirements.
